If you choose to use our services, you are agreeing to the terms of this privacy policy.
You must be 13 to use our service. If we are notified that someone under 13 is using our service, we will delete their account and personally identifying information. Contact us at privacy at chumbonus (dot) com to notify us.
We may make changes to this policy at any time, and we'll notify you if the changes are substantial.
If you reside outside the US, note that your information will be transferred to the US as part of using our service, and – as such – will be affected by US law.
By their nature, our services necessitate that you give us your personally identifiable information (including items like your name, address, resume, social network information, etc) and photos. How much information you provide is entirely up to you. We use this information to provide service to you.
We take every reasonable effort to secure your information, and we'll notify you if a breach has occurred that we believe materially affects you.
We will comply with reasonable requests from law enforcement and adhere to all applicable laws in our jurisdiction. Compliance may require us to abridge this policy as it applies to you and you may or may not receive notice of such.
There are third parties that provide us with services (such as hosted storage or cloud computing) where we have to store your information. We only store what we need to in order to perform the required functions, and we make every reasonable effort to keep that information safe, as safe as we keep our own personal information.
You have complete control of your personal information. But we may use it as needed to provide the service you request (e.g. referral), communicate with you about the service, provide customer support or to market additional services to you.
You can opt–out of any marketing communication we send you by following the simple opt–out instructions that we always include.
You can opt–out of any text message/mobile communication sent to your device by texting STOP or END in response to a text message. We will then cease delivering texts to you. Please note that you will need to manually reactivate the service after texting STOP or END. In addition all settings can be turned on/off from the edit preferences screen.
If you want to delete your information from our servers – we'll happily do it. Just contact us at privacy at chumbonus (dot) com and request a full deletion. It might take a few weeks to be fully effective, but we'll confirm receipt of your request and again when everything has been permanently deleted. We do not store resume information indefinitely; The client will have access to the resume whilst the position is active. Once the position is no longer active, the resume will be deleted during the next scheduled purge cycle.
By its nature, our service involves you sharing your information with clients that have posted jobs and that you have applied to. Please remember, once you've shared this information, we can't control what your recipient will do with your data. Carefully consider with whom you apply. We have contracts in place with the clients to practically eliminate the possibility, but we are talking about humans here.
We use cookies to keep track of your activity in our service – it helps make everything run better. We don't, however, use cookies to gather personally identifiable information about you. If you want to clear our cookies – follow the instructions in your browser. We also do not read cookies on your computer from any other website.
In some cases, your information may be passed back (and forth) to a third party website, such as social networks, at your request. If you elect to make these connections through our service, your information is subject to the privacy policy of those third party sites, over which we have no control. We encourage you to review their privacy policies as well to ensure they meet your standards.
We do keep logs of everything that happens on our service. Unless you're violating our terms of service (or we're compelled to by law), we don't match log data to your personally identifiable information.
Someday, we might become part of another company through a sale, bankruptcy or other event. If the new company makes major changes to this policy, we'll notify you and you can decide whether you'd like to keep using our service.
